The first reports are in, please post comments with any daily updates:
From Jeff Hachlowski on Facebook:
Dog days. Saturday we some blue-green algae near the dam. Today (Monday) it was also evident in the west bay, and possibly where the creek enters the lake (didn’t get close enough to say for sure).
The wind was blowing from the west today & some of the east shore was a thin, pale pea soup. Some odor, as well.
Joan and I did a trip around the lake about 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
The lake was definitely better than it was on Sunday and Monday when it had scum and blue green algae pretty well all over.
There was some large mats by Little largon inlet, some small stuff by Pat Horan’s, some bigger patches caught in the weeds by the bay running along side the road on the south side and by Jim Behlings, lots of cloudy small stuff by the point and the Vanderbilts, some small stuff by Nowickis. and a huge chunk connecting 3 lily pad areas in the west-north west bay.

From Marv on Sunday 8/20:
Almost non-existent in Sunday night tour. Just a little cloudy in one spot in the middle!

Lake update: No sign of blue-green algae on Sunday. Wind & rain must have helped disperse it.
