I took a moment to drive around to see if there was any additional effect from the storm. Saw a few trees down (including on from our place):
Notice it snapped right off the top of the tree and landed upright about 10 feet further towards the lake. Other than a few other trees down I didn’t see any major damage. I did see high water levels as expected, but for July I’m amazed at how high the water is, a few people had to take their dock sections off to not lose them in the lake. Note the high water level at the dam:

We had a huge tree come down in the storm and demolish our shed. Thanks to Katie Behling for calling us at home about it. We were the reason 3 chainsaws were filling the air with noise on Sunday. It’s so nice to have people around who will call when stuff like this happens. Unfortunatly, we not only found our shed smashed but that our beautiful canoe paddles were missing. A pox on whoever took them.
